If you have been following me over on YouTube, you will know that I have been busy prepping for next month’s writing contest, NaNoWriMo!
What is NaNoWriMo?
Well, I’m glad you asked!
NaNoWriMo is simply an acronym for National Novel Writing Month, which takes place every year in November. It’s when hundreds of authors ‘compete’ to write 50,000 words in 30 days! Yes. 50,000 words!!!
It’s not really a competition in the normal sense. There’s no set one winner. Anyone who reaches the word count goal of 50,000 words wins. So it’s more of a contest against oneself. And let me tell you, it is SO MUCH FUN!!
As I mentioned, I’ve been using the month of October, which is affectionately called ‘Prep-Tober” by the NaNo crowd, to prep the novel I will be writing in November.
So what does this mean for the blog?
I am going to continue to create YouTube videos for November, chronicling my NaNoWriMo journey, and since the writing schedule is going to be so intensive I will be posting the videos here, on the blog.
To kick it off, here is my final Prep-Tober video, and, as a bonus, I am announcing something BIG too!
