So I had full intentions to post an intriguing and witty inspirational blog today, but as you all know sometimes life gets in the way. For me, this past week, life not only got in the way, but it kicked my sandcastle down and stomped all over my plans. The days passed by in a whirlwind, and before I had time to adjust, the weekend was upon me.
Yes, I’ve got a secret.
But it’s not a bad one. It won’t hurt anyone, and it hasn’t hurt anyone. As you know I’ve hinted at some BIG news over the last few weeks, and I think that it’s about time to let the cat out of the bag. I was going to do it in my YouTube video this week, but you know what, today just felt like the day.
So here it is…
WE ARE MOVING TO MAUI!
Yes, you heard it right! We are moving to the beautiful island of Maui!
The hubby and I are beyond excited! We’ve spent months praying, making adjustments and plans, selling ALL of our furniture and reducing our household down to 11 boxes and 6 suitcases. We’ve already bid bon voyage to our car as it sails across the ocean to join us, and sent off 8 boxes ahead of us.
God has blessed us by providing an apartment to live in immediately once we’re there, and so, in the next few days this family of 2 will board an airplane for a lovely 12 hour flight, and then settle down into our new home just a block away from the beach!
Don’t ever let anyone tell you that God doesn’t answer prayer, dear Blog Peeps, because I can testify that He has not only answered, but poured out more blessings on us than we even asked for!
