What Happened in Camp NaNo Stays in Camp Nano…

Aloha Peeps!

It’s a cliché, but my goodness, time certainly does move fast! August is already upon us and I’ve managed to NOT keep up with this newsletter.

Sigh.

I do have some general news and/or updates for you!

I’m pleased to say that my newest novel, Neptune’s Folly, is ramping up on the tension and romance meter! I’m almost at 30,000 words, which is a great place to be. I’ve just passed the First Act, and my heroine has had a major upset and is now struggling to come to terms with it.

You are going to love this book!

Another big news item!

I am finally getting ready to release my novels beyond Amazon! I’m thinking about going through Nook first (similar to Amazon’s KDP for ebooks), and then branching out to other avenues. While I’m not ready to do so yet, you will be the first to know when it happens.

What’s ahead?

In the middle of my writing Neptune’s Folly, I am also plotting out several new novels … a duology about two sisters who find out a dark secret from their past that threatens to tear them apart … a book about a mermaid fighting to make her way back to the sea … a cozy mystery series that involves latte’s and quirky characters … and I’m also reworking my previous effort, Love in Lahaina.

I do have to let you all know that I may not get a book out this year. Time is passing quickly and I’m having a hard time balancing a 40+ hour a week job, writing, hubby time, and beachcombing. It’s been a struggle, that’s for certain!

But here’s the upside! If I can concentrate on getting a few books written before the end of the year, that means I will be ahead for next year. I’m aiming for definitely having a book ready for release by January or February!

I think that’s it for this letter! I do want to say THANK YOU for sticking with me and having patience!

Until next time…Mahalo!!
